Ad network MCP guide
Connect Mintegral to Claude or ChatGPT with Lemon AI’s unified MCP and API. Handle report snapshots correctly before comparing creative performance.
Connect Mintegral in Lemon AI and authorize Lemon's MCP in Claude or ChatGPT to analyze creative delivery without repeatedly exporting reports. The assistant can query the available asset metrics and inspect assigned creative attributes through the same connection used for your other supported networks.
For Mintegral, the first question is often whether two reports represent the same complete period. Generating a new answer from an old or partially refreshed export can make delivery appear to change when the underlying comparison simply changed its coverage.
Choose a snapshot, direct reporting, or Lemon
| Route | Best use | Main responsibility |
|---|---|---|
| Paste or upload a report | Analyze one fixed Mintegral export | Keep its dates, dimensions, and generation time attached |
| Build against Advanced Performance Reporting | Maintain your own Mintegral reporting pipeline | Generate, wait for, download, and replace report data correctly |
| Query Lemon's MCP and API | Reuse synced creative data and attributes across AI conversations | Choose complete dates and verify the metrics returned |
Mintegral's Advanced Performance Reporting documentation describes a two-stage request: generate the report, then download it when ready. Its downloaded result is the full data for the request, not an incremental delta. Current-day results may be incomplete.
For a direct integration, follow that lifecycle in the reporting tool that your agent calls. Do not let the assistant repeatedly append complete downloads as if each were a new batch. A provider API endpoint is not, by itself, a ready-to-add MCP server.
Connect Mintegral to Lemon
- Obtain the Mintegral Access Key and API Key for your account. Lemon's connection form points to Account → Basic information for the access key.
- Open Connections in Lemon, choose Mintegral, and enter the two credentials in the form.
- Select the account to sync, then verify a known campaign and completed period in Creative Analytics.
- Open API & MCP and authorize the assistant through Lemon's server.
Keep these credentials out of prompts and exports. Once connected, the assistant uses Lemon's reporting tools instead of asking you to handle Mintegral credentials in each conversation.
Add Lemon to Claude or ChatGPT
Use the same remote MCP server for all the networks you connect in Lemon:
https://api.lemon-ai.com/mcp
In Claude, open Customize → Connectors → + Add → Add custom connector. Enter a name and the URL, continue, and sign in to Lemon. If Claude asks how to register the OAuth client, choose Register automatically. Enable the connector in the conversation. Organization-managed accounts may need an owner to add it first. See the Claude setup instructions.
In ChatGPT, open Plugins, choose Add custom MCP server, and enter the URL. Select OAuth authentication, authorize Lemon, and install the resulting personal plugin. Mention it in a Work chat to use its tools. Availability depends on your workspace settings; follow the current ChatGPT MCP instructions if the interface differs.
Start by asking the assistant to call list_ad_accounts and let you select the intended account. Then use list_filter_values to discover dates and filters. Your ad-network sign-in connects data to Lemon; this second authorization lets the AI app read it. Do not paste network credentials into chat.
Begin with a complete-period delivery question
Use Lemon AI to discover my Mintegral account and available dates. Let me select the app and campaign. For two complete weeks, show creative impressions, clicks, cost, and CTR. Exclude the current partial day. State the exact filters, missing metrics, and whether the result is truncated.
This is deliberately a delivery question. Do not request a Mintegral D7 revenue ranking from an interface that does not advertise that outcome. A field available somewhere in the provider's reporting system is not automatically available at asset grain in Lemon.
Next, inspect list_creative_attributes to discover which labels can explain the creative differences. Use attribute_insights for supported metrics and get_creative to inspect the examples behind a finding.
Refreshing a report is different from adding new delivery
Synthetic illustration, not customer data: an early download for one day contains 8,000 impressions. A later download for the same scope contains 10,000 impressions.
| Fictional snapshot | Synthetic impressions | Correct treatment |
|---|---|---|
| Earlier report | 8,000 | Superseded for this exact scope |
| Later report | 10,000 | Updated total for the same scope |
| Incorrect appended total | 18,000 | Counts the earlier snapshot again |
The additional delivery in this synthetic example is 2,000 impressions, not 10,000. If your own pipeline appends both reports, an AI summary can faithfully describe an incorrect total. The connector and report lifecycle must be correct before the prompt can produce a useful answer.
When investigating a mismatch, align request dimensions and dates as well as the report-generation time. A creative-level report and an offer-level report do not become interchangeable just because they contain cost and impressions.
Ask which creative treatment deserves another test
For the same Mintegral account and complete period, investigate CTR by the available format label using attribute_insights. Show coverage, qualified creative counts, and uncertainty. Distinguish a creative that received more delivery from a creative that had a higher response rate.
Compare the apparent format advantage in each campaign separately. Does it persist, or did one campaign dominate the pooled result? Propose a matched creative test and list the outcomes this report cannot establish.
If your next question compares Mintegral with Unity or AppLovin, use the same MCP to discover those accounts. Keep results separated by source until date boundaries and reporting grains align. See the Unity Ads guide for the creative-pack distinction.
Use the same reporting layer through the API
For a script or another AI app, create a Lemon API key in API & MCP. Retrieve your account IDs with GET /v1/ad-accounts, then make a scoped read. This example uses a placeholder account and dates; substitute values returned for your account.
curl --get 'https://api.lemon-ai.com/v1/creatives/performance' \
--header "Authorization: Bearer $LEMON_API_KEY" \
--data-urlencode 'ad_network_account_id=YOUR_ACCOUNT_ID' \
--data-urlencode 'date_from=2026-10-01' \
--data-urlencode 'date_to=2026-10-07' \
--data-urlencode 'metric=impressions' \
--data-urlencode 'metric=clicks' \
--data-urlencode 'metric=cost' \
--data-urlencode 'sort_by=cost' \
--data-urlencode 'sort_order=descending' \
--data-urlencode 'limit=25'
MCP and REST expose Lemon's reporting definitions. Inspect missing fields, result limits, and any outcome metadata before interpreting a result. A limited top-creatives response is not an account total. Use the API documentation for supported fields and pagination.
Resolve empty or changing answers
For an empty account list, check the access/API key pair and account selection. For missing dates, check sync completion and discover the actual data range. For a current-day discrepancy, rerun a completed period rather than declaring a performance decline from partial coverage.
If the assistant invents ROAS from delivery-only data, ask it to remove the result and state what value and attribution evidence would be required. The API and MCP reporting contract explains how to preserve unavailable values.
